I worked on promoting The Barn at the Howe, a quiet retreat in the Lake District, by highlighting its proximity to the west coast and its commitment to sustainability. I designed a logo and marketing materials using recycled and sustainable resources, creating a brand that resonated with eco-conscious consumers and stood out in a saturated market.

I had the pleasure of working on a unique project promoting a holiday let in a lesser-known area of the Lake District National Park.
The Barn at the Howe is a beautifully refurbished retreat in a quiet corner of the park, built around 1870 as part of Howe Farm.
Visiting the area, I immediately noticed its peaceful and quiet atmosphere, very different from the bustling towns of Keswick and Ambleside, which attract hordes of day-trippers and tourists.
The property's proximity to the west coast, especially the seaside town of St Bees, also stood out.
With an already saturated market, the property needed a unique selling point to set it apart from the competition and attract holidaymakers away from the more popular hotspots.
I created a logo that highlighted the property's proximity to the west coast beaches and the northern fells.
One of my key objectives was to incorporate the owners' commitment to sustainability and the environment into the marketing materials.
I made a conscious effort to use recycled materials for printing and incorporated sustainable assets wherever possible.
I designed labelling for refill bottles that could be branded, allowing us to reuse existing bottles instead of purchasing new ones.
I was able to create a visually appealing brand that aligned with the owners' values and resonated with eco-conscious consumers.
